New Product Launch, SCM

Job Summary:
Role requires aspirants who have proven record of accomplishment in attaining the strategic supply chain new product launch goals for International markets. The role requires managing day to day activities related to New product launch portfolio for generic formulations business vertical and work with stakeholders at all levels both internal and external.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing day to day launch activities for International markets for both in-house and in-licensed products.
  • Demonstrate ownership in end-to-end execution of launch operations for new products which includes project planning and tracking RMs, PMs, Capex procurement until dispatch of finished product to respective countries’ distribution centres.
  • Create and maintain launch tracker, risk matrix, material requirements and provide periodic updates to Launch Lead, Cluster Head and other key cross functional members.
  • Monitoring of provisional orders acceptance, order conversions, tracking of firm PO’s, artwork development for countries, tracking of packing change parts, QC consumables for FG release.
  • SPOC for ensuring cross functional alignment & communication with Supply Planning, CMO Ops, Marketing, Regulatory, Logistics, Finance, Manufacturing, Quality and R&D functions.
  • Drive cross functional team to have readiness in place for manufacturing & supply of products. Organise launch CFT’s meetings, huddle reviews and set up weekly & monthly cadence with key members for progress updates and highlight critical points, pain areas for resolution.
  • As launch manager, build scenario-based analysis & plausible solutions for critical risks or issues encountered in products to launch lead & Cluster head for at risk decision making.
  • Prepare and track New Product Launch from Planning, Inventory planning and delivery perspective and ensure smooth transition of products from R&D to commercial
  • Actively supports Leadership team in achieving SCM new product launch goals and helping build the right culture and work environment in line with Biocon values.
  • Understands regulatory requirements and future trends; ensures full compliance of operation. Follow a structural approach, exhibit a learning mind-set for continuous improvement and flexibly adapt to changing customer requirements
  • Prepare and maintain reports & presentations as required to support the function, operations, and key performance metrics for NPL. Actively contribute in MIS dashboards and SCM decks for Monthly and Quarterly review by management.

Desired Qualifications/Attributes:

  • Graduates/Post graduates with preferred MBA in Operations/Supply Chain
  • PMP / PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
  • 3-6 years of experience in managing New product launch for Global markets
